About Dr. Sunny Thakkar
Dr. Sunny Thakkar, PT, MS, is a licensed physical therapist and co-founder of New Jersey Rehab Experts, with clinic locations across New Jersey. With extensive experience in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, he is dedicated to helping patients recover from conditions such as low back pain, disc herniation, joint injuries, and post-surgical limitations.
He integrates evidence-based practice with innovative treatment approaches, including dry needling, extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT), manual therapy, and functional rehabilitation.
